As a native New Orleanian, the art and culture of the city is part of my soul. I’m a multi-disciplined artist with work ranging from metal sculpture and mixed media to photography.
My photography is defined by the relationships I establish with my subjects.
Within the narrow confines of the camera’s view I see
the beauty in the ugly,
the interesting in the mundane,
the simple in the complex:
the soul of the subject.
For me, photography is a documentary about love, sorrow, happiness, and anger encapsulated in a single frame. It is a character study of where one is today as well as a history of moments in one’s life.
